librrd-simple-perl software package provides Simple interface to create and store data in RRD files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librrd-simple-perl
librrd-simple-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librrd-simple-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librrd-simple-perl *
You will get with librrd-simple-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
